Thief caught on camera using Chopsticks to pickpocket shoppers

NOW this is what you call a bad Chinese takeaway. A pickpocket has been caught on video stealing a woman's mobile phone with chopsticks.

Police in China believe he is part of gang of opportunistic thieves targeting busy shoppers in several cities, mostly women with heavy shopping.

The thefts are carried out in full view of CCTV cameras but the use of the chopsticks means that no fingerprints are left.

In one sequence caught on camera and aired on Chinese TV, the thief attempts to rob a woman wearing a black and white coat. She is unaware his chopsticks are about to strike but luckily she walks away before he has a chance to steal her belongings.

In another clip a thief sneaks up behind a shopper and picks her mobile phone out of her coat. He grips the phone between the chopsticks before placing it in a handkerchief.

A witness, quoted in The Sun newspaper, said: "It's so obvious what the gang are doing but no one does anything.

"This gang know exactly what they are doing and are highly skilled.

"By using chopsticks they avoid getting caught with their hands in the victim's pockets and don't leave fingerprints on stolen property."

Kris Humphries was stone-faced while seated next to his new wife Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Ray J, on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New Orleans, the New York Post reported Thursday.

Humphries, who boarded the Sunday flight in Minneapolis, was in an aisle seat across from the singer in first class, sources said. He sat there for a few minutes before moving to a seat in front of Ray J.

After minutes of “awkward silence,” Ray J walked up to Humphries’ seat to congratulate him on his recent marriage to Kardashian, but the basketball player reportedly acted like he did not recognize him.

"Ray J said, ‘Come on, you know who I am. I just want to say congratulations.’ Then Kris, realizing he was cornered, said, ‘Oh yeah, yeah, I’m sorry I know who you are.’”

Meanwhile, a mystery buyer was reportedly offering Vivid Entertainment a large sum to buy Kardashian’s sex tape with the singer in order to take it off the market.

Kardashian initially fought to keep the sex video from going public in 2007 but ended up settling with its distributor for an undisclosed sum that reportedly included a cut of future sales.

Some suspect that the buyer might be a member of either the Kardashian or Humphries families who may not want their relatives to see the tape.

Humphries’ representative did not respond to a request for comment. Ray J’s representative declined to comment

British funny man Russell Brand has clearly made a very good impression on the in laws, as the parents of his singer girlfriend Katy Perry have been singing his praises. However, her dad Keith Hudson has admitted that he is pleased to see his daughter so happy. Keith explained, "I could not have wished for a better son-in-law in Russell. He makes my girl so happy. She's so happy and he makes her light up. They're going to be just fine. You couldn't see two happier people." We’re not so sure he’d be so happy about Katy’s pink hair though.

I am finally blogging photos from a practice photo shoot with Hunter James Richardson. I had rented a studio space for a day back in January-ish and I was wanting to squeeze all the use out of that studio as possible.

Hunter had mentioned I need to expand my porfolio beyond just guys in speedos. Not that there is anything wrong with guys without their shirts. However, if I ever want to photograph high fashion someday I should practice photographing high fashion photography. Hunter has worked as a model for Burberry and other excellent fashionistas and so it was really fun to work with him. He brought a lot of experience to the shoot and that might explain why the night ended with 700+ photographs.
